    Get to Know Mark Through Our Quick Interview

    Mark Smith is our shop manager at C5 Manufacturing, a trusted provider of flatbeds for pickups like our Southfork Dumping Flatbed, the only dumping flatbeds manufactured in the USA for all 3/4 and 1-ton pickups. Mark has been in his role since April of 2015 and works with new product development, dealer training, and shop management, helping solve daily problems around our shop. Mark has become a valuable member of our C5 Manufacturing team, and we thank him for his dedication to the company!

In His Words

  • Tell us about your role at C5 Manufacturing.

    At C5 Manufacturing, I work as the shop manager, which involves helping with new product development, dealer training, and daily problem-solving. I also help with anything else that needs to be done around the shop on a given day.

  • What are some skills that help in your position?

    I have experience as a welder and a fabricator, which helps with my position. I also have experience with problem-solving, which helps me succeed in my role at C5 Manufacturing.

  • What do you like about working for C5 Manufacturing?

    I enjoy working at C5 Manufacturing because of the great people I work for. They trust me to do whatever I see necessary in order to get the job done. I also like that I never fully know what is coming tomorrow!

  • What do you like to do in your spare time?

    In my spare time, I like to ride 4×4 trails in Colorado with my pickup and spend time with my family.

  • What will people be surprised to know?

    People will be surprised to know that I am passionate about antique tractor pulls and have built a house from the ground up.
