C5 Manufacturing Attends the Nebraska Ag Expo
This past February, C5 Manufacturing, the industry-leading manufacturer of farm trucks with hay beds for sale, attended the Nebraska Ag Expo in Lincoln, Nebraska. After being postponed due to the threat of COVID-19, the rescheduled event took place from February 23 through February 25, 2021, and hosted nearly 760 different agriculture exhibitors. From big iron, precision ag, aerial imaging, and livestock production to inputs and data management, agriculture manufacturers and suppliers gathered from across the country to showcase the best that ag has to offer. Among these exhibitors was C5 Manufacturing, displaying our latest products, the Rancher Bale Bed and the South Fork Dumping Flatbed. The anticipation of a great show and special occasion to demonstrate our hay bale beds and flatbeds was sure to make the trip worthwhile!
Traveling to the Show
Along with many other exhibitors traveling across the country to attend the Nebraska Ag Expo, the owner of C5 Manufacturing, Corey Cress, traveled from Kingman, Kansas, to Lincoln, Nebraska, to participate in the show. After meeting up with new dealer and owner of Prairie State Seed, Brad Young, along the way, our team finally arrived at the second-largest indoor farm show in the United States. After arriving, our C5 Manufacturing team set up our farm trucks with hay beds for sale across the 9.2-acre climate-controlled Lancaster Event Center and browsed the latest innovations. Attendees were also offered free seminars led by industry experts, covering topics like cover crops, estate planning, alternative crops, and weather and commodity trends.
Networking With Potential Clients
As the number of attendees of farmers and ranchers had declined from previous years due to the recent pandemic, the farm show still proved to be a beneficial opportunity for our team at C5 Manufacturing. Cress was still able to network with many potential customers and possible dealers throughout the state of Nebraska while exhibiting our innovative hay bale beds to new customer bases.
Emerging New Ideas
Throughout the multiple-day show, C5 Manufacturing was afforded the opportunity to speak with other agriculture manufacturers, ranchers, and farmers and even gained valuable insight for increased versatility of product functions.
“An idea was proposed by a Nebraskan who understands the function of hay bale beds but also owns a trash disposal business. He posed the question: ‘why not use the Chisholm Trail Bale Bed to pick up trash dumpsters in smaller residential areas?’” said Cress.
The need for trash removal services is universal, and the use of a bale bed would reduce the amount of equipment needed for company owners. Certain trash removal businesses would no longer require two-ton trucks but could solely rely on pickup trucks with C5 Manufacturing’s hay bale beds. C5 Manufacturing is continuously brainstorming new ways to increase our hay bale beds’ versatility and has further interest in enhancing the functions of their current product to assist waste disposal business owners.
