Get to Know Dustin Through Our Quick Interview

Dustin Morris is a shop employee at C5 Manufacturing, the leading provider of hay bale beds for farmers and ranchers. Dustin has been in his role since 2018, and it includes service, parts, purchasing, plasma table operation and assembly management.

In His Words

Tell us about your role at C5 Manufacturing.

My daily tasks vary greatly depending on the shop’s needs. I try to check in with everyone on what they may need to complete their jobs and provide support for them. I answer calls from customers and dealers as well as help ship the parts they may need. We all wear a lot of hats on any given day.
What are some skills that help in your position?

My skill set includes two-dimensional Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD), operating various machines in the shop, organizing and ordering for production and shipping.
What do you like about working for C5 Manufacturing?

The company is growing and changing, which presents new challenges and obstacles. Even if your idea is not used, it is never discounted. I like that everyone here has a voice.
What do you like to do in your spare time?

My spare time is mostly spent with my wife and two adult children. Whether we are working on something or just watching TV, they are the people I enjoy most.
What is a hobby you love?

I still enjoy playing with cars. Everyone in my family has a Jeep, and we are constantly playing with or modifying them. For me, lying on the garage floor is as good as a day fishing!
What will people be surprised to know?

People will be surprised to know that I am a giant Disney nerd. We go every three to four years and want to back as soon as we get home. If I could live at Disney World, I would.
