Dakota Farm Show – Hay Bale Beds for Sale
C5 Manufacturing Attends the Dakota Farm Show
This past January, C5 Manufacturing, the industry-leading hay bale beds manufacturer, had the opportunity to attend the Dakota Farm Show in Vermillion, South Dakota. The event took place from January 5 through January 7, 2021, and showcased over 280 exhibitors, representing over 1,000 agricultural products and services. Corey and Ann Cress, owners of C5 Manufacturing, traveled 420 miles from Kingman, Kansas to South Dakota prior to the January show dates and prepared for the exhibition. Showcasing the new bale bed, the Rancher brought many eyes to a product unseen in South Dakota. Having the temperature-controlled USD Dakota Dome, we were sure to have plenty of farmers and ranchers interested in our products. With the threat of COVID-19 still prevalent, attendees were offered free health screenings and influenza vaccines to help stay healthy during the show!
Finding a Show
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, all other agriculture tradeshows have been canceled or postponed to dates later in the year. When new dealer, Brad Young, from Prairie State Seed, called with prospects of a farm show, Corey and Ann Cress headed to Vermillion with their hay bale beds to participate as first-time exhibitors in the Dakota Farm Show.
Expanding New Customer Bases
Although the Dakota Farm Show wasn’t initially on the schedule of tradeshows for C5 Manufacturing this year, Cress was intrigued by the prospects of expanding our customer bases, building new relationships in the area, and demonstrating our hay bale beds for sale in the exhibition dome.
“Bale beds are just getting established in this area,” said Cress. “So, we are looking forward to expanding and building some new customer bases.”
Meeting a New Dealer
The Dakota Farm Show proved to be a valuable opportunity to meet new dealer, Brady Young. Young, owner of Prairie State Seed in Bloomfield, Nebraska, has partnered with C5 Manufacturing as a new dealer of C5 Manufacturing products and used the tradeshow as an opportunity to meet up with our team and become more established with our hay bale beds and other products for sale.
“Brad is a very aggressive new dealer,” said Cress. “He’s not shy about returning phone calls, and he’s an honest man. I think we have a lot to offer each other and are going to be a great fit.”
